Railway Recruitment Board (RRB)

The full form of RRB is Railway Recruitment Board. The RRB is managed by the Ministry of Railways under Railway Recruitment Control Board.

RRB JE EXAM

The Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (IT), Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA), and Depot Material Superintendent positions are filled through the Railway JE exam. A diploma or BE/B.TECH is the minimum educational requirement for RRB JE, and candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 33.

Selection Process:

  1. CBT 1 (Computer-Based Test)
  2. CBT 2 MEDICAL EXAMINATION DOCUMENT VERIFICATION.

CBT 1

  1. Mathematics (30 Questions)
  2. General Intelligence and Reasoning (25 Questions)
  3. General Awareness(15 Questions)
  4. General Science(30 Questions)

All four of the category 100 questions in this session are meant to be finished in 90 minutes. Every question is worth one mark, and every incorrect response deducts one-third of a mark.

CBT 2

  1. General Awareness(15 Questions)
  2. Physics and Chemistry(15 Questions)
  3. Basics of Computers and Applications(10 Questions)
  4. Basics of Environment and Pollution Control(10 Questions)
  5. Technical Abilities(100 Questions)

All four of the category 150 questions in this session are meant to be finished in 120 minutes or less. Every question is worth one mark, and every incorrect response deducts one-third of a mark.

RRB GROUP D

Each year, the Indian Railway Recruitment Board conducts the RRB Group D exam to select applicants for positions including as

  • Assistant Points man
  • Engineering
  • Assistant Trak machine
  • Hospital Assistant
  • Assistant Works
  • Track Maintainer Grade - IV

Selection standards

Candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 33 and have completed at least a class 10 or ITI degree or diploma.

  • Document Verification and Medical Examination.
